Pregnancy Update

 I have been feeling super sick. Food does NOT sound good. I'm miserable and tired. This is the worst part of pregnancy...I cannot WAIT for this to be over. I'm eating whatever I can to keep the sickness down as much as possible.


But, the fact that I'm sick is probably means good things regarding the status of my pregnancy.


I told Christian's family that I was pregnant with this picture in the group message.

Christian and I decided to try for a 4th baby. I knew I wanted 4 kids, but Christian wasn't convinced. It took months of convincing, but when he finally agreed he figured why wait until "my timing." (I had said we should try for an October 2021 baby, because October...duh!) We only had just started trying this past month. I was planning on taking a test on Thanksgiving Day, which would have been  several  days past a missed period, so the test would have a better chance of being correct. He had a harder time waiting, so HE went to the store after work and bought me a test to take that night. Honestly, I already had a good feeling I was pregnant so I could have waited without much effort in being patient. For the first time ever I invited him to watch the results come in. Usually this is done alone and without his knowledge. I like my privacy when I find out, but since it would be our last I figured I would change things up. Baby #4's first ultrasound and FB announcement

  My little gummy bear. I cannot wait to meet this baby! (I also cannot wait to be done with pregnancy, FOREVER.) Nice, strong heartbeat, at 167 beats/minute. I think it will be a boy, but I've been wrong before. Christian has yet to make his official guess. We won't know until mid-March. And here is our FB announcement. The whole world...or at least my FB friends...are now aware of our little #4. And a huge thanks to my kids for putting up with my picture taking. Jackson wanted to be done so he could go back to playing Switch, Caroline just wanted to play with the bath toys, and Emma wanted to lie down and spread out in the bathtub. They (Jackson and Emma) are very excited about the new baby. Jackson thinks it will be a boy, and Emma thinks it will be a girl. Caroline has no idea what's going on.
